Kurt Koerth, pastor and Bible teacher was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from Azusa Pacific University and received a teaching credential from Chapman University. He has served as pastor of Son Rise since 1995 and has taught elementary school since 1994. Kurt lives in Fullerton, California with his wife Amy and their five children: Kyle, Kendra, Kaylee, Kandace and Kyra.

Ken Cruz, pastor at Son Rise was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Social Science. He has served as pastor at Son Rise since 1995 and has been living in Fullerton since 1999 with his wife Sue and their four children Nathan, McKenna, Melissa, and Melia.
